Embodying Psychotherapy provides training developed for psychotherapists and related disciplines to make greater use of embodiment in their psychotherapy practices. Adding somatic awareness and technique as well as embodied awareness of adult attachment strategies deepens psychotherapeutic work and meets clients at the level of the body and emotion.
By adding aspects of somatic work, inner relationship focusing, adult attachment work and relational skills, psychotherapists can broaden their skill set. This website offers information about training in Embodying Psychotherapy through Workshops, Group and Individual Consultation.
An Integrated Approach
I developed Embodying Psychotherapy for psychotherapists and related disciplines to make greater use of embodiment in their therapy practices. Adding the body through body awareness, knowledge of the nervous system and use of somatic interventions adds dimension and fullness to psychotherapy, enhancing our effectiveness as therapists and supporting greater feelings of agency in our clients.
